Plague Inc: The Cure is a sketch about informing the public about a cure for the plague that's been killing humanity.
Description: "Suffering from Necrocutiewiffilis? We've got you covered!"
The sketch begins with Ian waking up and talking about how he loves being alive and wasn't worried when his doctor told him he had a "vague, common bacterial infection with no symptoms." Then, he suddenly woke up one day with more symptoms than he could count and living seemed a lot harder, which includes nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dysentery, pulmonary edema, pulmonary fibrosis, pneumonia, coughing, sneezing, immune suppression, fever, sweating, rash, skin lesions, necrosis, insomnia, paranoia, seizures, insanity, inflammation, cysts, hypersensitivity, paralysis, abscesses, tumors, internal hemorrhaging, hemorrhaging shock, hemophilia, anemia, and total organ failure. Those who experience those symptoms may be suffering from Necrocutiewiffilis. Ian informs everyone that a cure has been developed to be 100% effective against Necrocutiewiffilis. A shot of Kyle throwing a football to no one is then seen and he says that he thought he was safe from Necrocutiewiffilis until the birds came over carrying the plague and now there aren't any animals or people left because they all died. Ian tells the people that humanity is saved thanks to The Cure.
The sketch ends.
- The sketch is shot as a parody of prescription drug ads, which tend to contrast the legally-required list of terrible potential side effects with uplifting scenes of happy people. Note that drug ads are illegal in most European countries, but are somewhat common in the United States.
- Kyle is throwing a football to no one because everyone he knows is dead.
- Greenland is notoriously hard to infect in the game.
