Ian frequently plays as the only sane person in the sketch, who points out the logical flaws of the other, more insane characters.

No Crime Intended[edit]

In No Crime Intended, Ian gets robbed by Ethan, who tries to excuse his crimes by saying that he didn't "intend" them, just like "No Copyright Intended" disclaimers. Conn points out that acknowledging that he's doing something wrong doesn't make the act legal. Kyle and Ethan eventually agree.

DIY AI[edit]

In DIY AI, Ian gets outraged when he discovers that Kyle bought an Artificial Intelligence from IKEA. He frequently highlights the absurdness of it all, until the AI commits suicide after downloading the Internet.

Collaborative Consumption[edit]

In Collaborative Consumption, Ian discovers Rachel's complex web of online trading, asking numerous questions on how does it work and how is she doing it. When a drone suddenly enters the apartment, Ian becomes startled.

Comic Con: Meeting Your Heroes[edit]

In Comic Con: Meeting Your Heroes, Ian cosplays as George R. R. Martin, author of the Song of Ice and Fire series. He argues with Kyle about the cosplayers on the event, as Sullivan claims that they are all real.

Sneezing and Driving[edit]

In Sneezing and Driving, Ian questions the absurd events that happen inside Kyle's car when he sneezes.

90's Nostalgia[edit]

In 90's Nostalgia, Ian confronts Kyle on his secret portal to the 90's inside his basement. Kyle tries to argue that it is not a big deal, but Conn counters him by saying that "they are making a Power Rangers movie".

Assassin's Creed: Animüs[edit]

In Assassin's Creed: Animus, Kyle tries to visit his ancestors' memories using an IKEA Animus lookalike. When Sullivan discovers only peasants in his family tree, he gets outraged. Conn, however, points out how his surname, Sullivan, is basically "irish Smith".

Self-Fulfilling Idiocy 3[edit]

In Self-Fulfilling Idiocy 3, Ian gets extremely angry at Kyle, who reveals that he has become the Doctor (Who). Sullivan tells him how he solves everything by killing his problems, though Ian points out that things don't work that way. In the end, however, Ian ends up shooting Kyle, making him regenerate and become Jefferey.

Raised By Video Games[edit]

In Raised by Video Games, Ian discovers the Videogame Girl's backstory.

D&D: The Tavern[edit]

Ian appears very briefly in this sketch, only right at the end. He plays the frustrated Game Master that gets his campaign ruined after Jefferey, Rachel and Kyle get a very creative idea.

D&D: Bad Dice[edit]

In D&D: Bad Dice, Ian tries to counter Kyle's argument, which states that dice can be cursed and spread it based on proximity. After watching several dice roll 1s together, however, Ian ends up agreeing with Kyle.

Self-Fulfilling Idiocy 5[edit]

In Self-Fulfilling Idiocy 5, Ian travels back in time from the far future to stop Kyle from destroying the world by making a sandwich. He tries hard to negotiate with Kyle to not go through with it, eventually settling for making the sandwich for Kyle. However, Kyle threatens to cook it again, causing another version of Ian to come back in time, willing to do a minor chore in exchange for Kyle not destroying the world. After several iterations, Allison comes back in time from the future to stop the repeated destruction of the world. Ian argues with her, claiming he's "got a handle on this". However, Kyle makes the sandwich while they're distracted and ends the world.

Self-Fulfilling Idiocy 3[edit]

While not physically appearing in this sketch, Kyle mentions him by throwing his hat to the ground and claiming to have killed "all the time-traveling Ians".

Comical Road Trip (3rd Year Finale)[edit]

In Comical Road Trip, Ian and Kyle pursue Jegor and the Hobo through the sketches of the third year. Eventually, both of them catch up to their fictional versions, executing both. When Sullivan asks if they are getting too dark, Ian answers that nobody will notice it.

Show Busyness (4th Year Finale)[edit]

In Show Busyness, Ian, Kyle and Allison hire Jefferey, Matt Locke, Cesar Riojas and Thomas Devery to film the finale for them. Ethan, after discussing with the fake crew, find the three clumped up on a corner working on Skyvault, and manages to encourage them to work on the finale instead.
